The family Auslander-Padgham is composed by OF the parents, Bonnie and Jon, Nina and her little brother. In an afternoon of 2012's winter IN A WINTER AFTERNOON IN at their home, nobody on IN the family has HAD gone outside. The parents understand than UNDERSTOOD THAT their children use WERE USING too much the new technologies NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND THE INTERNET TOO MUCH and internet. They take the decision of DECIDED TO ban all new technologies at IN their home. For example, Nina wants WANTED an iPhone like her friends but gets just JUST GOT a purple digital music player.

- We think that the parents doesn't have to ban all the technologies but just restrict the time and the hours of using technologies.
- And we think that technologies becomes absolutly necessary in the modern life.
- They can also active the parental control to restrict some chocking websites and socials networks.

The surveys prove
that when you have a face-to-face contact with a real friend you laugh more than a half when you are interacting with a virtual friend. So speaking with a virtual friend is less positive for people than speaking with a real friend. The proportion of our real friends is just a small part of our virtual friends. For example if you have one hundred of facebook friends you have just approximately twenty real friends that you see all days or all weeks in real life. Besides, with virtual friends, you can't have face-to-face contact and you can't touch them.

Virtual friends are worse than real friends for all these reasons. We think that the text is realistic and our virtual friends are only a small part of our real relations and social links. We think also that the friends on social medias are the subject of competitions for popularity. Therefor, it could be bad for teens.

Martin et Kenny
bon 4/5
