Hello! Today I started reading “The Green Mile” by Stephen King. When I was trying to pick a book yesterday I was stuck between “The Green Mile” by Stephen King and “The Stranger” by Albert Camus. After debating for awhile I ultimately chose “The Green Mile” by Stephen King. I chose this book because I had heard great things about it from my mom. I have also heard great things about the movie made about the book. The movie came out in 1999, three years after the book’s 1996 release. The genre of the book is horror/mystery. Another great book by Stephen King is “The Shining”. “The Green Mile” is not yet a classic as it isn’t extremely old yet.

At work I have a coworker who is about 80 years old. She is the nicest person ever. Today I went to this fun museum and saw a ton of cool pieces. My favorite would have to be “Vancouver Riot Kissing Couple” by Richard Lam. Here’s a picture of it!
This photograph shows that love exists in the darkest of times.
It really stood out to me because I have never seen anything like this photograph before.
I also like that the photographer focused on the couple, but also included the police force in the background. Overall, I really liked all the pieces!
