         <description><![CDATA[<div>Unlike most other ghettos, education was common in the Vilna ghetto, so much so that it was given the name "Yerushalayim of the Ghettos" because of its large number of intelectuials and authors that wrote in Yiddish, Polish, Lithuanian, and even Hebrew.</div>]]></description>

These people would have to sneak past guards and hope to not get caught by the prison guards for their numerous treasures. It lasted them a total of 18 months to collect all of these historical documents. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Despite the fact that books was one of the main thing that the Vilna ghetto smuggled, there was also many other different other items they smuggled in too. Members of the Vilna Ghetto often smuggled weapons, that they stole from their German workplaces to have a chance fight back against any Nazis that entered. They also smuggled explosives, which they used to put on rail tracks that caused great damage towards the German trains passing through.</div>]]></description>
