I think so because she released an album referencing the LGBTQ+ community in a positive way. But I don't know her on a personal level, so I don't know her opinions and beliefs

No because of how much influence she has, I think people do it because Taylor Swift is doing it. For example, Super Bowl LVIII became the most-viewed event on American TV. The only reason why so many people watched it is because her boyfriend, is on the Kansas Chiefs. She brought people that would never even think about watching American Football, to watch it because she was there.

Her actions seem genuine however, there is no way of truly knowing if it's her idea or her media team telling her what to say.
