Another volunteer stays in the room during the ceremony to watch valuables. 
All volunteers assist faculty with their regalia for the event during line-up.
Lead should go over procession assignments with faculty first row and second row line leads. Lead times procession line up to be in sync with end of the student processions and cues faculty to march.

This person sits at a table near the scanner and receives the scanned cards. The cards are carefully organized in the order in which the students proceed across the stage. The photographers use the organization of the cards to determine which student goes with which photo.

Enters the stage as graduates cue up for announcement. This person receives the announcement cards from the student. The pacer holds the student and card until the time is right for them to proceed across the stage. Then the student walks and the pacer hands the card to the scanner in time with the video feed. Oversee the second deck of announcement cards near stage

In coordination with on-stage assistance and the reader this volunteer connects students with missing cards or cards that need to be announced by the reader. This usually includes cueing the reader, but may also include helping fill-out an announcement card.
