Having already shown that I take charge of my life, I am less apt to act irresponsibly while away from home and less in need of others’ approval before making important decisions. In addition, given my self-sufficiency, I may not need the “excitement” of a college in a large city because even at an isolated college locale I will be able to generate activities and create a social network.
