While I do not experience many discipline issues within the four walls of my classroom, I am noticing extreme disrepect toward teachers in the hallways.  Many students just roam around the halls instead of actually going where they should be.  When I have asked students where they should be, I receive the following responses:  completly ignore that I just spoke to them, blank stares, cursing/yelling, walking away, etc.  

Students, in general, seem to be getting away with a lot more bad behavior than pre-pandemic.  I've literally overheard students coaching each other on how to get out of trouble.  I've heard them tell each other, "As soon as you do something wrong, go to your counselor or principal before the teacher gets a chance to.  Then tell them how you're super stressed or your anxiety is really bad. They don't punish you then."  

I truly makes me sad that students are doing this AND getting away with it.
