A:  We used the collaboration tool to construct the FLGs.  We matched a WIDA macro-function with a micro-function for each FLG.  For example:  Argue by stating an opinion or a claim in order to participate in grade level exchanges of information. A:Based on the texts and tasks we determine what two Focus Language Goals from that quarter can be taught with that content unit. Then, during the planning time after reviewing the Stages 1 & 2 of the UBd units (standards, understandings, content knowledge and skills and the performance task) we create an exemplar of the performance task.
