This week, Reception explored our topic of 'how we've grown'. We started with Guess the Baby, a fun activity where children guessed who was who from baby photos!

We were also lucky to have a special visit from two sibling babies, aged 4 and 7 months, which absolutely captivated the class. The children then reflected on all the things they can do now at age 4 that they couldn’t as babies, and celebrated how much they’ve grown!

PE day for Reception Class is on Mondays

As part of their R.E unit on Christianity, Year 3 and 4 walked to Holy Trinity Church on Monday for a special visit to learn all about what God promised his people. The children discovered that a covenant is a promise or agreement and thought about when people make important promises in their lives. They became very creative decorating a footprints poem and discovered what promises God made with Moses and Noah in the Old Testament. The children behaved excellently and really enjoyed their experience.

PE days for Year 3 & Year 4 are Tuesdays & Thursdays

Children entered data, applied formulas like SUM and AVERAGE to perform calculations and brought their findings to life by creating colourful graphs, all in the blink of an eye! Next lesson we will be looking at rations from WW2 and entering data linked on that theme and using formula to quickly calculate costs for a family of four.

PE days for Year 5 & Year 6 are Thursdays and Fridays
