Panel: The panels are mostly rectangles and squares of different sizes throughout the graphic novel. The frames where Robin is expressing emotions like happiness the colors are brighter, whereas when she is expressing anger or frustration the colors are darker.
Gutter: Flow of panels does not past the midline gutter. Box around group of panels to give space between panels and gutter. This space is decreased with panels that go outside the border.
Image: Most images are drawings, and most are up close. Frames where she is expressing emotions like happiness, the colors are brighter, whereas when she is expressing anger, they are darker. Frames with stronger emotions have rays. Then there is a flashback to her time in Korea, the frames are darker, and the story is blue rather than black. The dialog is black except when she is talking to her new Korean friends at her new school.
Text: The text goes hand in hand with the graphics. The text is mainly black, and when it is blue that is when they seem to be speaking Korean.

Our group recommends the book. This book would be great for middle/high school students. The book show struggles of everyday life. Dealing with family relationships, friendships, being new. We think teachers should read the book as well. As a teacher reading this book we can get a better insight on what students feel. A lot of our students can relate to Robin.
