- Dyr der lever i vand og har gæller = fisk

- Psykolog Eleanor Rosch påviste bl.a. igennem sin undersøgelse at en spurv er et bedre eksempel på kategorien fugl end en pingvin. Dette er fordi at vores top down processer skal arbejde lidt ekstra for at kategorisere en pingvin som fugl.
