Three years ago, we lost my brother Deivis, who at just 16 years old had a life full of dreams. I remember that day like it was yesterday; the world stopped. Deivis was my confidant and friend. He loved skating through the streets of Trujillo, doing incredible tricks. You should have seen him; it was like he was flying on his board. Did you know he loved anime? He collected figures and mangas, and we spent hours talking about series. You'd be surprised how many he knew.He learned alone and composed songs full of emotion. You could feel it in every note. He rescued dogs and cats; he dreamed of a shelter. You would be touched to see him take care of them. Did you know he loved to cook? He always experimented, creating delicious dishes, although sometimes strange. You'd be surprised. He was always willing to help; he was generous and kind. You could count on him. Even though he is no longer here, his spirit inspires me to live life to the fullest.
