The strategy I found the least helpful was finding things equivalent to the original rate.  I found that using multiplication was faster.  If I had to teach this to one of friends I would teach them the multiplication strategy, or a relationship between the numbers.  I would also teach him/her to check their work by finding equivalent ratios.

- One of the helpful stratifies is finding the most simplified rate and then finding relationship with multiplication
- I didn't really have a strategy that didn't help. I found all of them helpful.  
- I would teach a friend by telling them to find the reduced rate first and then find the find the relationship and use multiplication to find a equivalent rate.
