Defenders of the sea turtles.

How would it be if one day you went to the beach and found hundreds of dead sea turtles? therefore, you would find several species of dead animals, and also if you had the opportunity to dive you could see that there wouldn’t vegetation in that sea. Sounds terrible, right? It’s not how we usually see the world. Sadly, this will be the main effect of our acts as human species. In fact, the end of the world would be our responsibility.

Take the poaching and direct consumption, for instance. Hunting and collecting eggs for consumption are the main causes of the drastic reduction in populations around the world. Turtle eggs are considered an aphrodisiac in some countries and are eaten raw or sold as snacks in restaurants.

Bycatch, illegal trade, climate change, marine pollution also are the main reasons for its extinction. Nowadays, these especies are in danger of extinction due to human influence through these facts the disappearance of their ecosystem, to the extent that many specialists consider that the greatest threat to turtle conservation is humans.

We need to act now, and we don’t have much time to change our habits. This can be achieved through established Organizations. In this way, the environmental Organizations are responsible for instance, for protecting habitats, raise awareness to avoid eating eggs and turtle meat and carry out studies of their migratory routes and nesting sites in the ocean. Preserving these animals among other is extremely important so we can maintain the balance of the earth.

Imagine that you are living close to the sea. You are trying to find some fishes to eat. But you can´t find it. Aditionaly, the tide is rising but the coral reef have been desapering. It can´t protect you.

Take the Carey tourtle, for example, Carey tourtle contribuites with the renawal of coral reef. But some people eat its eggs and are being killed it to make some handicrafts. It is causing that this animal are desapering and with it, the coral reef.

We need, created more animal conservartions plans to avoid that situation, where people will be aware about the importance of this animal.

ZOOPLANKTON

Zooplankton is a type of heterotrophic plankton that range from microscopic organisms, them serve as an intermediary species in the food chain, transferring energy from planktonic algae, there are different type of the zooplankton in the sea, but the most important spices are radiolarians, foraminifera, and dinoflagellates, cnidarians, crustaceans, chordates, and mollusks.

It is formed by protozoa, that is, various protists, also by larvae of larger animals, such as sponges, worms.

They cannot produce their own food and must consume other plants or animals for food instead. This means that they eat phytoplankton.

In the carbon cycle they have important because somehow them responsible or most of the transfer of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to the ocean. It has a primary effect on growth, reproduction, feeding strategies and mortality.

Zooplankton is very important because it constitutes, together with phytoplankton, the base of the food pyramid of marine ecosystems. They are food for small fish, which in turn are food for other organisms such as larger fish and seabirds.

They can have two essential types in its entire life. The first is holoplankton, which closely resemble protists or sometimes krill; and they cannot swim against the water column. And the other type is meroplankton, which are like holoplankton in their life cycles. In addition, they have their differences in size and behavior; They can be larger, and their diet is hybrid, which is to be autotrophic or heterotrophic than their counterpart, who must choose their way of feeding.

So, if an environmental problem were to happen, much of the organic waste in the oceans could not be consumed. Since they have the purpose of cleaning them and many of the other animals, they could get sick or die.

If all of species of zooplankton disappeared, the humans can be in a big problem considering that they have a special function inside of the sea, if they don’t exist, the life on the ocean would die and we won’t have resources, especially food, the levels of carbon will increase in our air and accelerate the climate change and it could be dangerous to the humans considering that we won’t breathe.

Is important consider that all species in the nature is fundamental for the world, and each species have the important job even the smallest animal. Finally, the zooplakton aren't consider an important specie but this specie constitutes the first the base of food chain and they give support the maintenance all the ocean, considering that the ocean is 71% of the earth's surface, it's maintenance is vital for the planet.

The importance of sharks - (Carlos Vela)

As top predators, sharks play an important role in the ecosystem by maintaining the species below them in the food chain and as indicators of ocean health. They help eliminate the weak and sick and maintain balance with competitors, thus ensuring species diversity.
As predators, they modify the spatial habitat of their prey, which alters the feeding strategy and diet of other species. Sharks indirectly maintain algal and coral reef habitats. The loss of sharks has led to the decline of coral reefs, kelp beds and the loss of commercial fisheries.
Sharks are the main predators of carnivorous fish, so "if they were to disappear, they would multiply and wipe out the herbivorous fish, their food. If so, "once the species that feed on algae have disappeared, they would grow uncontrollably in our seas",
At the top of the food chain, sharks feed on potentially destructive fish populations. Their intervention prevents such populations from growing rapidly and taking control of a particular location.
In addition to the direct destructive consequences to the marine ecosystem if sharks were to become extinct, an important source of food and income for local fishermen and coastal communities would be lost.
Think of them as the ocean's immune system. Can you imagine what would happen if we eliminated the immune system of humans? We would all get sick and struggle to survive.
Despite their importance, sharks live under threat every day.
