  • While Lisa won’t be leading/organizing the hub herself, she will be an essential supporting role through her connections in order to avoid burnout on her part- continuing her professional work, but as a part of our movement

A problem we faced was how to workaround Lisa's apolitical peer counseling work, which is how we came up with a more behind the scenes advisory role.

    We thought Lisa's role could be that she could use her data/research to inform what kinds of support different groups of students need, and also continue to be someone the students trust if any casual information events were to happen. We think her biggest challenge will be navigating her professional boundaries so that she can maintain her job, which she needs to afford tuition, and the trust of her peers (ie discuss financial needs in broad themes vs individuals)
