Verbal skills are skills that allow us to communicate with each other. In the workplace it is important to be enthusiastic and serious when speaking to an employer or a colleague. Other verbal skills in the workplace include body language, being friendly and think before you speak. These all effect the way that you look to an employer/colleague. Employers value this as a CV can only say the achievements that have been accomplished by you but verbal skills allow the employer to see this in practice in the workplace.
