Over 200 people were accused of witchcraft. Witchcraft was against the word of God and is punishable by death or imprisonment.The only evidence e that were used in the trials were how the girls acted when the accused talked. If they acted erratic, the accused was a witch. Another way they proved that the accused was a witch was through a bodily search during trials.
