Bullying is verbal or physical abuse that hurts the victim either mentally or physically. There are a few strategies to stop bullying. The first one is for the victim, who is getting bullied. It is to "Stop, Talk and Walk". Stop means to tell the bully to stop whatever he/she is doing. Talk means to make a strong statement. Walk means to just walk away. The second one is for bystanders, who are watching the victim getting bullied. It is "Don't bystand, lend a hand". This means don't just watch someone getting bullied; if you are a bystander, help the victim. There is no particular way of bullying someone. The bully can be saying rude words, hitting, making fun, etc.

Dhairya - Why must bullying be stopped ? Bullicide is the act of killing oneself because of being bullied and that is exactly what he did. People should not bully over the internet or at all for that matter. ....Another reason bystanders are afraid of standing up for the victims is because of their fear of being the next victim of the bully. Bullying is a serious problem for all children involved. Kids who are bullied are more likely to feel bad about themselves and be depressed. They may fear or lose interest in going to school. Sometimes they take extreme measures, which can lead to tragic results.

1 in 4 teacher's see that bullying is not bad.
By age 14 less than 30% of boys and 40% of girls will talk to their peers about bullying.
Sometimes many people are not aware when someone gets bullied and the children get scared to help the child getting bullied and don't lend them a hand.

What Is Bullying

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.

In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive and include:

An Imbalance of Power: Kids who bully use their power—such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or popularity—to control or harm others. Power imbalances can change over time and in different situations, even if they involve the same people.
Repetition: Bullying behaviors happen more than once or have the potential to happen more than once.

Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.

Dhairya - Why must bullying be stopped? Most bullies don't understand how wrong their behavior is and how it makes the person being bullied feel. No matter what kind of bully someone is, they have not learned kindness, compassion and respect. Bullies don't need a reason to hurt others.

Bullying Is when a person passing on comments on you, picking up on you (embarrassing),making you feel depressed because of what the bully is saying sometimes you may even have to leave your passion. The saying of bullies affects you in many ways like you start to hate yourself, don't eat food, you don't feel like talking to anyone.Bullyinv can also happen physically as the bully even may have strength and may threaten you saying he would it you.

What you should do in such case?

You should not fight back and just not let it continue instead go and talk to an adult and most importantly note down what exactly happened so you don't miss any important information. You can also follow the rule to stop bullying stop talk and walk.It means to stop the bully and say something which states that you are not an east targeg.
