Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems. 


In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive and include:

  • An Imbalance of Power: Kids who bully use their power—such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or popularity—to control or harm others. Power imbalances can change over time and in different situations, even if they involve the same people.
  • Repetition: Bullying behaviors happen more than once or have the potential to happen more than once.

Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.

Children who are bullied are at risk of the following:
  • Anxiety
  • Loneliness
  • Low self-esteem
  • Poor social self-competence
  • Depression
  • Psychosomatic symptoms
  • Social withdrawal
  • Physical health complaints
  • Running away from home
  • Alcohol and drug use
  • Suicide
  • Poor academic performance

Children and youth who frequently bully are more likely to:
  • Get into frequent fights
  • Be injured in a fight
  • Vandalize property
  • Steal property
  • Drink alcohol
  • Smoke
  • Be truant from school
  • Drop out of school
  • Carry a weapon

Bullied should be stopped because of the reasons listed above. Bullying should be stopped as when get bullied they change and try to avoid their disabilities, which leads to bad emotional and social state. Children  are a very delicate piece, children shouldn't be given insults to learn or to give them sadness. Children should be given good replies that make them feel that they are on on cloud nine. 
Children who bully make there behavior like that and destroy there personal growth and social behavior.

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems. 


In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive and include:

Bullying happens almost every month with children in school. Victims of Bullying are bullied many times a semester. Due to bullying, many people are scared to go to school everyday. It has been reported that  Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. Approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day because of bullying. 17% of American students report being bullied 2 to 3 times a month or more within a school semester. 1 in 4 teachers see nothing wrong with bullying and will only be involved 4% of the time. Also, 71% of students report incidents of bullying as a problem at their school.  In one large study, about 49% of children in grades 4–12 reported being bullied by other students at school at least once during the past month, whereas 30.8% reported bullying others during that time. So we can conclude that Bullying occurs in schools or playgrounds twice or thrice in a month and about a million times every year.

Bullying Is when a person passing on comments on you,picking up on you (embarrassing),making you feel depressed because of what the bully is saying sometimes you may even have to leave your passion.The saying of bullies affects you in many ways like you start to hate yourself,don't eat food,you don't feel like talking to anyone.Bullyinv can also happen physically as the bully even may have strength and may threaten you saying he would it you.

What you should do in such case?

Bullied should be stopped because of the reasons listed above. Bullying should be stopped as when get bullied they change and try to avoid their disabilities, which leads to bad emotional and social state. Children  are a very delicate piece, children shouldn't be given insults to learn or to give them sadness. Children should be given good replies that make them feel that they are on on cloud nine.
