         <description><![CDATA[<div>Integrating RE and inquiry together so the kids could make connections using graphic organiser at the beginning of term so that the students are creating their own graphic organiser at the end of term. <br><br>Using Seesaw as a reflection tool on a regular basis. Build into planning for next term. Helps students explain and gain a deeper understanding of their learning.<br><br>End of term celebrations students sharing learning with parents in our open morning. Ownership of learning during interviews with parents and open morning.<br><br><strong>Friday Challenges<br></strong>Building key competencies and hands on activities with students in group situations<br><br>sharing progressions with students building student agency they are starting to become more aware of their next steps. <br><br><strong>Next Steps<br>More creative hands on inquiry tasks. </strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Transition to school especially around our play has been very successful.<br>Taking time to establish expectations / routines<br><br>See Me Know me has been very successful - especially as a follow on for Nga Whanau Mai Day.<br>Building relationships with Whanau - Tika Team Picnic<br><br>Seesaw - good for see me teach me - great for sharing learning / play / teaching tool to rieinforce learning from school to home.<br><br><strong>Next Steps Term 2</strong><br> </div><div>Collecting student voice this week to feed into our planning for Term 2 as we are moving forward adopting a more topic / themed approach probably on a two week cycle depending on interest / engagement e.g. dinosaurs, diggers, penguins - whatever children come up with. Early inquiry;) posing questions - wonder wall.</div><div>As teachers we will also feed in our own topics e.g.fairy tales &amp;  - especially around Science - e.g. electricity / magnets / volcanoes etc. - around Anthony's PD about 'Library of Experiences' (thank you Anthony) - from this we can create experiences / learning that will spring board into our writing too.</div><div>We can rotate resources and the different provocations we are creating around our themes during the two weeks for variety and interest.</div><div>Thinking also about Music / Arts /PE etc <br><br><strong>Term 3 - Cultural Term</strong><br>Around our arts - dance, art, music, song, food.</div><div><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
