The Sumatran rhino is the smallest member of the rhinoceros family and is critically endangered due to poaching for their iconic horns which is highly prized in the black market. In Indonesia, Disney is working with the International Rhino Foundation to reverse the decline of Sumatran rhinos along with the conservation efforts being made at Disney' Animal Kingdom. Today the exact number of remaining Sumatran rhinos is difficult to determine, but some estimate the current population is less than 100 individuals which can be found in several protected areas in Sumatra and Borneo.
