When covid struck and school shut down it affected families because some parents rely on school as a place to send their children to while they go to work. How is a single parent suppose to go work and watch their kids, they can't. School was their resource that helped them to be able to go to work. A single mother of five was arrested because during covid she had her 14 year old daughter watching her younger sibling, she was affected heavily by covid. Being a single mom isn't easy and school helped her to be able to go to work and not have to worry about where her children were going to go.

Confidence and motivation
