         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Playlist for Part I<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>Using your favorite online music program, create a playlist of <strong>10 songs </strong>that symbolize the events that occur in Part I of Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.  (If you do not subscribe to a Music Program, try <a href="https://playmoss.com/en/">PLAYMOSS</a>.)</li><li>​Give the playlist a meaningful title.</li><li>Once you have created the playlist, you will create a Word Document or Presentation (Sway, PPT, Prezi etc.).​</li><li>Title the Document the same as the playlist, and hyperlink the title with a live link to the playlist.</li><li>For each song listed, you will type no more than 3 sentences justifying why you chose that particular song to symbolize Part I of Fahrenheit 451.  You will also share the lyrics that apply to your point.</li><li>Remember to give credit to each artist whose song you choose.​</li><li>You may add images and audio, if you like, but be sure to credit all sources.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong> Poetry for Part I<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>You will write 3 free-verse poems.  </li><li>​Each poem will be from the point of view of a different character in Fahrenheit 451:<strong> Clarisse McClellan, Guy Montag, and Mildred.</strong></li><li>The poems should allow the reader to understand the conflicts occurring in the minds of each character and also mention some of the events in Part I.  (For example, Clarisse looks at the world quite differently than most of society- and then she goes missing.  You can write a poem that fills in the blanks of her story.)​</li><li>Each poem must be at least 6 lines in length.  </li><li>You may create the poem in any format you wish (paper, Word document, Sway, Powerpoint, etc.)  </li><li>You may add images and audio, if you like, but be sure to credit all sources.</li></ul><div>​</div>]]></description>
