- Less streamlined school subjects. More subjects are used at once through broader-scale assignments. 
- Have a need for 'life long learning' and can't rely on school learning. 

Have students changed? 
- We mostly agree that their needs have changed. 
- Knowledge is more diverse, dynamic and individualised. 
- Their life choices can be more dynamic, which means their learning and school needs to be subject to change and suit their needs.
