My earliest memories when I had to leave my hometown which was Boston when I was about 3 years old. I can still remember the cold, snowy nights, and being able to play with snow all day. when I left it was also the first time I rode an airplane, so I was able to experience so much at a young age. Now till this day I have traveled to many places and still looking forward to continue to do so with my son.

Hi I'm Jasmine. My earliest childhood memory is going to Sizzlers with my Grandmother and older brother. We would go almost every day and sit at the exact same table every day. My mom tells me stories about how my brother used to always try and convince my Grandmother to not take me with them and I would be chasing behind him with my little legs and saying wait for me. My Granmother also loved to cook and I remember sitting at her bar stool watching her cook. I think that contributed to my love for cooking.

One of my most prominent childhood memories was moving to Arizona. I was born in Lincoln, NE and I moved here when I was 7. My mom, twin sister and I moved here to be with family. The heat was definitely an adjustment but I remember missing the cold, snowy winters and the cooler summer nights. However, I love that I have those memories of Nebraska and that I currently get to make new memories here!!

I remember taking a bus because the babysitter didn’t driver and we got into the one of the new buses that had a spring like middle part. My babysit also had 4 daughters and two of her daughters were sitting in the middle. My baby sitter asked if I wanted to sit there but I said no even though I really wanted to.

One of my favorite memories as a child was our camping trips. I will always remember the food my mom prepared because we would eat the same sandwiches and burritos every single trip. I loved being with my family and walking down to the lake to skip rocks. I loved sitting around eating and talking with everyone. The memory of going camping as a child is still so vibrant in my mind. Now that I have a daughter I will definitely make sure to introduce to her what it's like going camping and allow her to experience that for herself.

Some of my earliest childhood memories were family get togethers for holidays and birthdays. I used to love getting together with everyone for special occasions. In the summer we would get together at my grandmas so we could all use the swimming pool and in the winter time we would gather at my uncle's house, he had a huge yard and a big house to play in. Our family no longer gets together like we used to as many of us have moved and many have passed away. I will always cherish the memories of our gatherings.

Attached is a photo of me and my husband for a few years ago.

One of my earliest memory as a child was one Christmas, I was told that there is a Santa Claus and that if I hang a sock by our window, he will come on Christmas eve to bring me presents. I only have a pair of socks growing up. I asked if I can hang a grocery bag instead but they told me it has to be a sock. So I went on and took my worn out used sock and hung it up by my window. I waited patiently. I woke up on Christmas morning and rushed to the window to check my sock and to my delight there is something in it. I reached in and pulled out one peso (roughly Two Cents). I was disappointed, I supposed Santa was generous. I expressed my disappointment to my Mom and Grandparents and then they teased me that next time, I should hang a clean sock. Nevertheless, it was a memorable Christmas after all.

I would sleep over at my Tio's house and when we were supposed to be asleep we would wait until everyone was asleep and sneak out of the house. and go into her tree house and and bring a bunch of snacks and stay up all night telling ghost stories. We would do this every weekend until one time my Tio come out when we didn't noticed and climbed up the tree and scared us and told us not to sneak out of the house. But a month later we were back at it again. I'm very glad to have moments like this with her.

One time I was wrestling my brother, who was at the time a whole foot taller than me, and I ended up winning. I had pinned him to the floor.

Most of my childhood was spent outdoors, so naturally one of my favorite childhood memories would have to do with the great outdoors. When I was about 12 years old my family started building a cabin on a massive amount of land they owned in southern Utah. During this trip we were laying carpet in the loft of the cabin when a mother and 2 cubs came waltzing into the cabin. This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Seeing wildlife up close it was both scary and incredible. I mean how many people get to see a mama bear and her cubs up close?

All of my childhood i spent running around with cousins, bonding with my siblings and traveling with my family. My most fond memory as a child is celebrating Easter each year with my family. I have a huge family so searching for eggs with all my cousins was always so much fun! It's a good memory because obviously now we dont search for eggs, but its nice to reminisce the times we were all children. Soon enough that will be us and our children, Im thankful for having a happy united family.
