In the story Della and Jim wanted to give each other gifts for Christmas. Both of them gave up something valuable. They thought their relationship was more important that objects in life. I would chose my friends over objects anytime. In the story Fujio and Kiyoko were catching crickets at night. When Fuijio caught a cricket, Fuijio gave his cricket to Kiyoko. The narrotor of the story said she saw Fujio and Kiyoko's lanters lit their names to each others chest. What this means was that Fujio and Kiyoko were destined to be with each other when they get older. They obviously didn't know that but the narrotor did. When I went to the dog pound, their were so many different animals i couldve chosen from. They were all strangers to me and I had no idea which dog I wanted. When i saw my dog I didn't know if she was the right dog for me. I think shes right because my dogs seem to be smarter than me. She gave us an example of a cat waiting for her owner. The cat always knew when her owner would come home and wait for her. This reminds me of when my dogs wait for me and my siblings to come home from school. My family and I have a family bond that can never be broken. We all love and care for one another. We love to go out and have fun. We love to travel around places we have never been in. I think my mom and are closer than me and my dad. I dont like picking sides but when I have to I would always choose my mom. I only have one brother and hes 5 years old. We dont really like each other but we still show our love. I have 3 sister. One older sister and 2 younger ones.
