Liberal arts teaches people to not just prepare them for there career but also prepare them to be active and responsible citizens. Also teaches students how to argue and ask why and how to debate with people as well as teaching them to make better decsions.

Civic Education

Allen says that education should not just prepare people for there jobs it should also help people to learn how to solve problems with other and how to communicate and make fair decisions.

Stem

Stem helps students learn more about there careers. "STEM in particular are the solutions both for inequality and for America's ostensibly precarious global economic standing- have being widely adopted at the highest levels of government." (10)

Stem also has a lower rate of political participation among humanities. Stem does train students for science, technology, engineering, and math. This can play a role in preparing people for there future

Allen thinks that this should not just setup kids to believe that the minimum wage job is what they should settle for and they should push harder and it should make them look at higher paying jobs after education.
