Tadhg: These were voluminous, I forwarded a report to Luke in June. Invigilators typically travel from another campus, thus arriving late. They have not be trained or otherwise informed of requirements, and frequently don't have sufficient English to communicate. Once invigilators arrive there was little scope to improve performance.

There is a necessity to apply UCD standards but in a Chinese context, this has specific requirements. In practice in 2024 it fell to UCD teaching staff to see this was addressed, but deeper coordination in a dedicated exams office/ officer is necessary -if UCD standards and practices are to be complied with. Organisational development is probably necessary here.

Paula: There is a discrepancy between what the lecturers in CDIC have to deal with in relation to exams and assessment and the expectations in UCD. Which adds to workload and stress. Need processes and support.
