and to think of these before thinking of myself.

To love is getting to know someone.
To notice 

what she likes,
what she dislikes,
what captures her gaze—
and to pay close attention.

To love is to fill in the pieces of myself.
The space she takes in my life,
The ways she moves me to act,
The reach of her presence in my thoughts—
all slowly begin to complete me.

And so,
To love is like a mirror.

To love someone is to love myself.
To craft a new piece of the puzzle and place it where it belongs.

The last day of my life

As I felt my eyes closed

A person’s face suddenly comes to mind

The person who knows me the best And the person whom I know the best The person who makes me angry, and disappoints me the most.

Yet,

The person whom I’m most proud of. And at the same time,

who shames me the most

So I hate her

My own shadow which always follows.

But just before my breath died, I realize how much I love her So I make late apologize

Like a blind, I bound with dreams I couldn’t find,

I left my hopes behind, my heart confined

But I found a way to unwind my mind,

to leave behind what once defined

I pinned my hopes on dreams that thinned,

but grinned at the sky when the storm had skinned

The path I climb, no longer confined,

the wind behind, my strength is refined

I am now a gust of wind, wild but undefiled.

And I am dreaming

But deep inside, I don’t feel that.

Like songs that fade before they end,

My thoughts just break, they never bend.

I’m chasing shadows down the hall

They shrink when I feel ten feet tall.

A crumpled note inside my new book,

Reminds me of the things I knew.

So here I am, still not quite clear,

But getting closer, year by year.

My mother is lighthouse

Always gives me a light

Even in dark, her light comes to me

My father is my house

Gives me a comfort all the time

Totally supports me whenever

My first brother is root of plants

Difficult to see his care for me

But he takes care of me behind like root of plants

My second brother is my friend

Occasionally fight like we’ll never meet

But sometimes get along like we are soul-mates

My family gives me a number of love

I also want to become the sunshine for them
