         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition -</strong> Arson means <a href="https://dictionary.findlaw.com/definition/willful.html">willfully</a> destroying someone else's property worth $150 or more by setting fire to it without permission from the owner.<br><br><strong>Type of Crime - </strong>Arson is a felony and a CLASS 2 Felony. Residential or House of Worship Arson is a Class 1 Felony. Aggravated Arson is a Class X Felony.<br><br><strong>Punishment -</strong> A Class 2 felony (arson) carries a 3 to 7-year prison sentence. A Class 1 felony (residential/house of worship arson) is punishable by a 4 to 15-year prison sentence. A Class X Felony like aggravated arson carries a mandatory prison sentence of 6 to 30 years in prison.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition - </strong>the action of taking property unlawfully from a person or place by force or threat of force.<br><br><strong>Type of Crime -&nbsp;</strong>Robbery is a Class 2 felony unless the victim is 60 years of age or over or is a person with a physical disability, or the robbery is committed in a school, daycare center, day care home, group day care home, or part-day child care facility, or place of worship, in which case robbery is a Class 1 felony.
