• Step 2: Turn in and label the 2 lettermark logos. Label this step 2a & 2b

Look at how your 2 letters could 'fit' together.

-Are there any similar shapes?

-Can you fit 1 inside another?

-Can they lock together like a puzzle piece?

• Step 3: Post your 6 sketches under your name in the TURN IN tab. This is a graded sketch. Label this "Step 3"

Recreate your 3 drawings using lines & shapes along with Shapebuilder.

• Post your 3 LOGO designs under your name with titles like the examples below. Label this post "Step 4"

Create wrapping paper from art movements listed below:

• Pop art

Make & Expand will give you an outlined piece that can be pulled apart after it has been ungrouped. What is white on the design will be a white shape after it has been traced.

This is easiest to work out in black and white without getting distracted by colors.

Manipulate shapes by using the Direct Selection tool (White arrow) by moving lines and anchors to change the shape

Shapebuilder tool will allow you to combine and trim shapes.

After doing your first layout, Copy & paste in place the text & card suit to keep your layout consistent.

• 1 image traced silhouette - convert it to a compound path if it has multiple parts

• 1 drawn vector shape

Use the Object/Clipping Path/Make to combine the traced image and the vectored shape. Add in the pattern to the clipping path in the Layers tab for the background to see the whole traced image.
