The video has the informations of the increase in demands for leisure industries(especially in online without physical constraints)due to COVID-19, for example, OTT services, online fitness programs... etc.
However, there's some side effects in online leisure activities like addiction. So I've came to understand that harmonizing offline and online leisure activity is important, not to over invest in online leisure, because of their side effects.
Also, Sony's business strategy for their crisis in changed era showed me how to survive in changing business trends.

After covid-19 the increase of demands in various leisure industries like outdoor supplies, ott services, online fitness programs has extremely increased. Digital integration, the idea that data or information on any given electronic device can be read or manipulated by another device using a standard format has let the world react without any physical constraints. I am looking forward to the harmonization of offline and online leisure industries. However, we must not think lightly of the consequences and black flashes for the increase in technology use.

Including me, it was difficult to understand what it meant just by hearing this word. However, it was easy to understand because they explained the topic using examples such as Netflix and Sony, which are familiar to us. Recently, due to COVID-19, there are many businesses going online and offline It was good to know the exact meaning and details of things such as home training and home cooking. It was new to the concept of OTT services for the first time, and I am looking forward to "Leisurenomics" that will be developed further in the future.

I realized that all activities in which we gain pleasure or satisfaction by using digital technology are a new form of leisure in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. As a "digital generation," we are familiar with these technologies, and in particular, almost all generations have become familiar with digital technologies due to the COVID-19 incident. This form of leisure will continue to develop further in the future, and accordingly, we will also pursue a new form of enjoyment.

Topic was pretty unique that I can get more interest and focus. Examples such as Netflix and SONY was helpful to understand the presentation. I agree that leisure industry which doesn't have to face somebody grew up quickly due to COVID-19 and it is true according to all data you quote on ppt. Next, you claimed that after COVID-19, face-to-face leisure will be famous again. I don't really understand. Although COVID-19 gone, other dangerous things that threats our lives(such as fine dust, climate change) still exists and people will be familiar to untact leisure. As a result, untact leisure will keep increase. I think it can be different according to perspective that each have. I'm really appreciate to make me a chance to study about new topic.

After watching the presentation, I noticed that various industries including fitness, food and overall, 'leisure' have shown different ways they can provide online leisure activities. I especially liked AR Glass 'The ghost pacer' which recognized the problem of the home training service and addressed the problem by combining technology with the service.
Lastly, the presentation showed that some leisure industries have losses due to the digital transformation or the pandemic. Sony reminded me of how Disney changed it's way of participating in the industry. COVID-19 has led to close Disney Land, LA so no profit is made by Disney Land. However, Disney found a new way to make profit, 'Disney+'. Disney+ is a streaming home of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and etc. After the growth of Disney+, Disney was able to find a way to survive the pandemic.

So, this trend caused the development of online marketing. Indeed, 'Leisurenomic' is facilitated for many parts of our lives.

After watching this video, I had an opportunity to think about specifically how the new forms of leisure activities affect our current society. The society is constantly transforming due to the development of technology and the industrial revolution. Because of these changes which directly affect the life style of people, I certainly believe that the changes of the form of 'leisure' has also became a natural event. Moreover, the Pandemic situation has made the individualization of leisure activities inevitable. In this case, I believe that leisurenomics could rather become a new helpful tool for people to enjoy and fulfill their satisfactions in our changing society. As the examples of OTT services such as Netflix, and digital fitness markets such as Peloton which you have mentioned, leisurenomics will constantly develop in a more beneficial way.

I agree that the quality of leisure is increasing in the pandemic situation through Netflix's original content, fitness applications, and Samsung's cooking management technology and so on. Likewise, youTube is free to use and has a lot of users, so many people use it for online leisure. (ex. Watching YouTube exercise videos, exercising, watching cooking videos, cooking ) But as you know, anyone can upload videos without proving their identity on media such as YouTube. In this case, I think there may be cases where people who enjoy online leisure may suffer damage from videos posted by non-experts. I think this is also a negative aspect of online leisure mentioned by the presenter. In order to solve the problem, I think efforts should be made at the platform level such as YouTube, and efforts such as developing media literacy skills should be made at the individual level, but I wonder what the presenters think about this.

I agree that the indivisualization of leisure due to the digital platform is desirable. Before we talk about the digital platform, we should recognize that the demand trend for leisure has changed. Many people who suppressed by organizational culture and boss, began to prefer the indivisual culture. Perhaps we were pursuing a uniform organization that did not consider individual tendencies and characteristics. The digital platform can be used for many purposes, but it has begun to be used in leisure life due to changes in the perception and social atmosphere of people who forcibly endured the organizational culture.

Therefore, I agree with the 'use of digital in leisure' with two reasons.

First, digital space have less constraints than offline space, so people can enjoy more benefits of the information era. They can communicate with people by using metaverses as I’m using today. Personalization does not necessarily mean disconnection from the world. Through an online platform, you can contact and interact with others without any burden.

As people can spend their leisure time according to their personal preferences through the introduction of digital, personal stress will be reduced. As seen a lot in Korean entertainment and dramas, unnecessary meetings with awkward friends make leisure time more stressful. However, with the advent of digital leisure, people who like to be alone can spend their real leisure time alone watching Netflix or other media.

Based on the above evidence, I totally think digital leisure like Netflix, Youtube, Samsung digital health care and other ott services is desirable because they can consider individual characteristics and make real leisure.

Both introverted and outroverted people alike now prefer to spend time in the comfort of their homes, communicating with their digital devices instead of physically interacting with humans. And though there are flip sides to every coin, leisurenomics should be something we embrace because it is something that has allowed access for the bigger crowd to associate with activities exclusively fit for their needs and level. Whether it be watching a video, using a health app when working out, e.t.c. leisurenomics allows for a personalized experience that you can bend to your own needs.

This video lets me understand the new standard of leisure and problems of it. As the video and announcers said, traditional way to enjoy leisure is destroying because of the spread of viruses. We can't go to the overseas if the purpose of travel is not about business, and we can't gather together to prevent it. In this situation, individual leisure such as OTT services is on the way. Platforms such as Netflix, Spotify are earning income much efficiently and more. Not just does it have the characteristic of individuality, but it has that of preserving originality. So I think many people come to love OTT services.
Also, it can invest high-risk contents with individuality. Originally, current Broadcasting systems such as NHK and KBS are reluctant to making adventurous contents because of danger. But because Netflix and other OTTs are doing it, famous dramas and movies like the Squid Game can appear in the world.
But to achieve Entertainment independence, we have to support local entertainment industry, which is the way for us to be strong in culture. I think direct restriction to huge OTT platforms are inadequate in terms of freedom to make contents and freedom to business, but we can make traditional and local services enhance themselves. In this way, we can achieve 'cultural independence'

As digital transformation accelerates, it is interesting to note that more and more online we enjoy offline, and that companies that are well adapted to this trend gain economic benefits. Also, according to the explanation in the video, it was interesting that almost all leisure activities became available online, so I no longer traveled around the neighborhood to find a new leisure life. Among the various leisure activities we enjoy, I became interested in leisure activities that cannot be converted online. For example, there is a limit to online workshops where iron is melted using hot fire. In addition, in the case of leisure life such as hiking, I think it is a really difficult leisure life to change online. So I wonder if these leisure lives can be converted online or if they will eventually die because they cannot be converted. My opinion is that mountain climbing and railroad workshops will eventually be converted to online. In the case of a mountain-based VR app to tour the mountain or a iron-handling workshop, I think the workshop owner can solve it by making it in its own shape and sending it to the user's house if the user uses the application to make it virtual.

The development of online-convenient platforms maximizes the convenience of citizens to live in an untact society and improves the quality of life. As a result, I think it has a positive effect on society as a whole(both economical and social aspects) as it can act as a buffer against "corona blue," or depression, which has increased rapidly due to the COVID-19/

DT in the area of leisureconomics is comming rapidly. We can easily find the examples in our real-life experiences, like the case of "Squid Game". From the video, they showed us new words like "Dital Convergence". It was completely new experience, and hope to meet new leisure through DT. The SONY's anecdote was truely interesting that we should find out professionals well and do "Choice and Concentration." Apart from the presentation, We share our leisure and life on our SNS, therefore being completely isolated is impossible. With the technology growing, we can easily find people who has same interest, hobby or even taste toward lovers. And the case of AI used in OTT services such as Netflix's, It can also lead to the filter bubble and confirmation bias phenomenon. We should find out how to solve this.

The meeting turned into a non-face-to-face video conference, and even schools had online classes. In this situation, I came to think that it is inevitable and natural for leisure to be personalized. Therefore, as shown in the video, companies in many fields have entered the online industry and set up strategies to capture individual customers. In conclusion, I am positive about enlargement in personal leisure as I adapt to the development of technology

According to this leisurenomics video, I actually realized that there is a lot demand for digital services and the consumption is extremely increasing in this pendemic. Especially online-interacting business like Ott service, AR glass and many shopping sites are now finding how to make stable profits by preventing consumers from leaving and gathering new consumers. It is true that seeking harmony of offline and online is really important. I suggest we have to consider some active programs except just cooking or watching movies. Or relaxing-programs might be the best solution to create balanced outcomes. Not only economic aspect but also overall online activity, ‘excessive electromagnetic wave’ is the another reason why we have to focus on relaxing-program. It can make us tired easily in this pandemic that we don't know when it'll end. Even doing some outdoor activities aren’t allowed for us to rest our eyes. So I think providing these services which aren’t influenced by a changing society can be useful to revive in an unstable economy.

As the COVID pandemic prevailed, there was a big transformation in the sector of leisure economy. As it was dealt in the video, the Netflix original is a very good example of this. Unlike any other OTT services which usually only provided made products, this company decided to clinged to a distinctive strategy by making its own products. This made it possible to prolong, or even improve its merit and stop their users from leaving. This leap was all possible since the COVID pandemic occurred and people put more attention to the leisure services. Thus I strongly agree that the quality of leisure is increasing in the pandemic situation.

Leisure was one of humanity's oldest yet fondest interest in history. Romans made Colosseum and Greeks had auditoriums for actings. As the time went and as the civilizations riped and improved over time, people's interest in leisures increased by better life. Combining digital services and technolodges such as Netflix was a vast success in many countries all over the world. Following the success of Netflix, global OTT services such as Disney Plus, and Hulu came out. I think it is a very innovative services. The problem is that the people will not connect with others as the time goes. Socialization is one of the aspects that makes the humans great beings, but due to indoor activities, such things may be altered into egoistic and lonesome society. I think we need to be aware of the dangers ahead for the future of leisurenomics by being alone by digital technolodges.
