         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. I liked the approach that NGSS has to offer catering to the 3 practices. <br>2. I am forseeing lot of thinking process involved which will make the kids to be curious and discover learning in a new way. The way students are going to be involved in  hypothesis, testing their theory  , discovering and using higher order thinking will make science learning fun and engaging. <br>3. Hopefully will like to try a unit in March , because by then we will be able to finish the other 2 units .  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>'The seven cross cutting concepts' was something new for me. These crosscutting concepts can help students have a scientific way of thinking about the concept under study.</li><li>NGSS introduces engineering from kindergarten through grade 12 which is something new and will be beneficial to students.</li><li>I think by Feb 2018 we should be ready to implement one unit of NGSS.&nbsp;</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The three themes : Practices, Crosscutting Concepts and Disciplinary Core Ideas were clear with the meeting yesterday. I liked the SEPs. Incorporating all these would be of great interest and beneficial to the students when compared to the present practices. Hopefully we will do one unit next year after a good planning.</div>]]></description>

         <title>I liked the  weaving of crosscutting concepts into the performance expectations in NGSS, like how they unify science and engineering.  This approach will help our students  develop a scientifically based view of the world.  Trying out this new system could be possible towards last quarter of 2017-18 school year.</title>
