Initial care should be to clean the area to get rid of anything that could cause an infectin. Next you should cover the injury with a bandade or guaze pad.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A puncture wound is a cut that is made when a sharp object, like a nail, goes through the skin and into the tissue underneath. initial care should be to wash your hands or wear gloves and make sure that to stop the bleeding. once the bleeding is stopped, clean the wound but do not remove the object. </p>]]></description>

Initial care should be to apply direct pressure to the wound and try to elevate the wound if possible. Initial care should be to clean the wound and bandage it with a clean gauze pad or other bandages. Try and keep the wound clean and dry for at least 24 hours and then take the original bandage off, clean it, and then apply a new one </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The main universal precautions are </p><ol><li><p>Use barrier protection at all times.</p></li><li><p>Use gloves for protection when working with or around blood and body fluids.</p></li><li><p>Change glove between patients.</p></li><li><p>Use glasses, goggles, masks, shields, and waterproof gowns/aprons to protect face from splashes.</p></li><li><p>Wash hands if contaminated and after removing gloves.</p><p><br/></p><p>Universal precautions are used to prevent the transmission of bloodborne pathogens from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials</p></li></ol>]]></description>
