Benefits and positive points:

  • Practicity (being at your home)
  • Different methods and tools may have more positive impact on some types of learners.
  • Reaching learners from distant places.

Challenges and common difficulties:
  • Students disperse more easily.
  • Failures in connection.
  • Kids sometimes need help that cannot be provided by an online teacher (physical contact and a helping hand sometimes is needed).
  • Adolescents close their cameras and mics.

HOW TO OVERCOME? GAMIFICATION, ACTIVE METHODOLOGY, ENCOURAGE INTERACTION...

In conclusion, we can say that teaching online has been a challenge for most teachers during the pandemic, but the knowledge gained has been enormous and many teachers will keep using some online tools even after the pandemic passes.

Hybrid teaching: is it the future? I believe so! And I recall Professor Bruno believes this as well...
