         <description><![CDATA[<div>Chapters 4 and 5 were focused on taking care of your self to help build your calm at work. My focus has been on exercising for a short period of time with my family when I get home. There has been a lot of stress in and out of work and this is helping me take time to focus on my life outside of work. I have not been as successful as I would like, but working everyday to help make this a priority.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The idea of building &#39;self calm&#39; is huge, along with the importance of self-care. Taking time for oneself is not always the priority when feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities either imposed or self-induced. Life is full of opportunities &#39;to do&#39; things. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>REGARDLESS...PRESS THE PAUSE<br>Knowing our attitudes impact those around us help us desire to 'up our game' with calm. Therefore, if we cannot do 'self care' for ourselves...do it for our kids in the classroom. I like the idea of 'building breaks' into the schedule and inserting 'mindful minutes' intentionally in the day as well, especially prior to large projects/testing to help student release anxiety.<br>A take-away for me is to leave school 1-2 times a week 'on time'.<br>I have tried this over the last few weeks...so far, so good!<br>I am feeling the benefit.</div>]]></description>
