YouTube vlogs done on North Korean tours and global news about the city and country.

4) What will I see or experience there?

I would want to see not only the physical landscape - there are some pretty amazing mountains and geographical landforms in NK, but also the human landscape - the Arirang mass games, historical landmarks (statue of kim il sung, pyongyang metro).

5) Why do I want to go there?

I want to understand the country’s perspective of its own history (and that with the other Korea during the Korean War) and towards global events.

I want to visit the Faroe Islands after my graduation, during summer months as winter is cruel in this region.

It would be interesting to visit this place on my own, and to immerse myself in its culture and people.

3) How did I discover this location?

My professor instructed us to watch a documentary on 'The Grind' for a module on natural resources, which talks about a whale hunting tradition common among in the Scandinavia region. This documentary stuck in my mind for a long time, as it was surprising to find an alternative perspective.

4) What will I see or experience there?

Apart from immersing myself in it's culture and tradition, I am hoping to see the dramatic physical landscapes marked by basalt columns, and clearly observable geological features.

5) Why do I want to go there?

I want to be able to witness and understand the relationship between societies and their environment, and how they are able to sustainably live off their environment, and yet continually face challenges from external forces that threaten their tradition in the form of increasing mercury levels in whale meat and the intrusion of environmental activists such as the Sea Shepards.

On pinterest, then did further research on youtube vlogs :)

4) What will I see or experience there?
Dordogne is a small town in southwest France, set between the Loire Valley and Pyrenees mountains. So I will be able to go hiking and explore its nature.

It’s also known for prehistoric cave paintings in the Vézère Valley, like in Lascaux Cave, something I look forward to.

The town of Périgueux is home to the Cathedrale St-Front, with its 5 domes, and the Vesunna Museum, built around Roman ruins. I can also go there to try kayaking as well in the Dordogne river.

5) Why do I want to go there?
Singapore might but a nice place but I would like to escape civilisation in the city and rather try enjoying my time in the countryside. Probably a better alternative to therapy.

I'm particularly excited for Dordogne's spring and autumn season, for a much more memorable sightseeing experience.

I want to go to the Eleona Church, a church next to the Church of the Paster Noster.

Prefferrably with my family or other catholic friends.

Not really sure when I'd go there, maybe once I'm able to go there with friends or family.

4)How did you discover about the location?
A few years ago, my parents went on a pilgrimage in Jerusalem and came across the Church of Eleona, a church where Jesus had preached. What was surprising was that the church and I shared the name 'Eleona', although my parents didn't know it was a church when they named me.

5)What do you want to see or experience at the location?
It'd be nice to look around the church and experience going there for Sunday mass.

6)Why do you want to see or experience at the location?
The Church's name has me interested, which made me want to learn and see more about it first-hand. I also want to see one of the places where Jesus preached. Also because I'm curious to see how the churches in Jerusalem differ from the ones in Singapore or Philippines, architecturally and as a church. I think it would be nice to visit Eleona Church, regarding spiritual or religious growth and understanding.

I would go to Krabi, Thailand with my family and spend some quality time with them.

I hope to visit this place during summer so that the possibility of it raining is lower and I can enjoy the beach and the sun.

I discovered the location from a website and found out more about it from watching random vlogs of Krabi.

4) What do you want to see or experience at the location?
I would love the get the chance to go snorkelling and ride boats. Something I look forward to is riding a boat for the whole day, barbequing on the beach and finishing the day off watching the sun as it sets. There are also night markets that sell really great souvenirs and food.
