Some of the scholars believe that ignorance is not the main reason for making a nation poor. However, Some of the national like North Korea which fewer graduates compare with South Korea. According to the CIA World Factbook (2016), The average income of the South Korea people is $25977p.a. and North Korea people is $583p.a. The public service, Law and transport infrastructure of them were also poor than South Korea. It is clearly to see that ignorance is affecting the nation's economy.

To be honest, some the countries may not know what is the most effective way to enhance their economy. For instance, in 1978, the grovermant of Ghana built a factory in the middle of the country which is far away from the market and that wasted so many resources for the transfer.

Culture plays a major role in economic prosperity of a country. According to Max Weber (2002), a sociologist states that cultural or even religious values could impact on economic output. He argued that the Protestant work ethic, supported by reformation teachings that the pursuit of wealth was a duty, taught the virtues needed for maximum economic productivity. For this reason, Protestants were more productive than Catholics throughout Europe.

According to the World bank (2012), the Chinese culture allowed everyone work and have businesses which made the GDP grow from $1000 to $8000.

In China, Confucious, a philosopher helped the country’s economic stagnation by bring peace, harmony and love into the Chinese culture.

Austen and Headrick (1983) state that the reason why Congolese people lack work ethic is because the king would always take their crops from the farm which made them stop.

The geography is not one of the main part that effect the economics, even though each countries’s income are different. And Montesquieu the French Philosopher mentioned the people living in warm countries are tend to be more lazy and lack of inquisitiveness. However, from the data of Rapid Economics Advances, it shows although it’s the same city, but its economics can still be grown. We know the location of a country can not be changed anyways; but then how can some warm countries like Singapore beats places like USA and Hong Kong with the GDP. So it’s not about the geography problem like Montesquieu mentioned.

But in some cases, there is some funny example for geography with economics to show that the geography probably not effecting economics. The example for the Nogales of USA and Nogales of Mexico. From the map, we can see the Nogales is split to two parts, one part is for USA to manage and other is for Mexico. However, the quality of Nogales are different. The Nogales of USA is better than Mexico’s. The average income for the USA one is $30000 p.a. and Mexico only got $10000 average. And the table shown the education of Nogales is Majority graduate high school and Mexico one, only few people can graduate from high school. Moreover, the Law and Order, Nogales, Mexico has a high crime and corruption probably due to the education, people don’t really have knowledge to reach what the boss needed. So, the economics could be effect by the government of a place more than a geography of a place.
