That sort of thing never happens and usually if people make the kinds of decisions she made they wouldn't have ended as well as they did for her. She made all these choices that people would typically not, such as accepting his offer to drive them all of the way to Cleveland. For Dr. Ebema, it was reversed because all the people he encountered did things a lot of people would not often do. There were many things he could've done but he chose to take his time to rent a car and drive them to the stadium, and also letting them spend the night at his house.
