Prince Franz Ferdinand was assassinated on June 28th, 1914 and that's when the world would spiral into an all out war, for starters Austria Hungary declared war on Serbia, Germany then goes and declared war on Russia and France, Germany then goes to invade Belgium and Britain goes and declares war on Germany and Austria Hungary.

The battle of Somme happened on July 1, 1916 and the weapons that were being used are pretty crazy here are some of the weapons that were being used in this battle, Bombs, Barbed Wire, Horses, Machine Guns and cannons. But the British had a plan of attack and their plan was to break through the German line and exploit their weaknesses. But some problems that the British were facing were delayed attacks, weakness of the shells of their guns and lack of artillery and the German had a huge advantage over the British because of these problems that the British were facing.

The Treaty Of Versailles was the end of all things but the most important thing is that it was the end of WW1 meaning that no more soldiers had to suffer through anymore pain and agony they didn't have to sit there and watch their brothers die anymore. But the end of the war did come with some things one of those things being Germany will not be able to have an army, and they were forced to pay 33 billion dollars to Allies in reparations. And there was a peace conference but it didn't include defeated nations.
