         <description><![CDATA[<div>Duration: 14 weeks of OTL<br><br></div><div>This unit provides students an opportunity to practice creating vector-based graphics in the design of a custom logo. The unit discusses principles of effective logo design, logo criteria/constraints. Students are provided online activity instructions to acquire content and follow the design cycle.<br><br></div><div>Students will design their own logo for learner profile attributes of their choice using vector editing software. They will learn how to generate simple vector graphics using Microsoft products like Publisher, CANVA or other web-based software.<br><br></div><div>There are three formative assessments - they take students through the process of analyzing and researching the elements of logos, generating ideas, sketches, and reflections, and then finally construction.&nbsp;<br><br>The summative assessment takes them through the same process again, asking them to design logos for a learner profile attribute of their choice.<br><br></div><div>A rubric is provided.</div>]]></description>
