It serves as a good reference point for me to make sense and understand my personal and professional identity and be aware of how my own identity is manifested in my interactions with fellow colleagues, students and different stakeholders. 

The Ethos also provide a good landing point for me to situate my actions and its purpose. Like the compass, it steers me away from mindlessly doing things and to go above the 'operations' of things to better understand how it is aligned with the ethos and help me move forward in my teaching journey.

Regular discussion with reference to the Ethos will help to establish, among the teachers, a common understanding of our Philosophy, Desired Outcomes, Vision, Pledge and Creed which will guide us in what we do.
