Participants receive the opportunity to explore their interests and career pathways, develop workplace skills and engage in learning experiences that help to develop their social, civic and leadership skills.

Interns work full-time for six weeks between July and August at prestigious firms around New York City. Additionally, all students are required to attend mandatory workshops, trainings, and events that take place between mid-May and mid-August.

The program consists of a five-day in-person Institute in midtown Manhattan during spring break, from Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, 2024 from 9:00am-3:00pm each day, and an in-person after-school session in early May. Throughout the program, students will work in small groups to learn about local issues, culminating in the planning and implementation of a day-long Youth Service Summit for elementary school students in late May 2024. Interested students should complete the application by 11:59pm on Monday, March 4.

In 5 weeks learn all about what you will need to apply to college while also building a college list and drafting a college essay.

Founded by a Teach For America alum, Broadway For All has provided arts and entertainment training to students as part of our Summer Conservatory for more than 10 years. Founded on ideals of radical inclusivity and accessibility, we strategically bring together a diverse group of talented students from all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds to learn together under working professionals in NYC’s entertainment industry. So that no student is turned away for financial reasons, we provide training at no cost to our students. Once a student goes through our program, they are given free access to high school and college admissions coaching, access to free Broadway shows, and join an alumni network of professionals on Broadway, TV, and Film as global artist citizens. More than a conservatory, Broadway For All is a movement.

Our Summer Conservatory runs July 8th - August 7th and includes five divisions:

• TV/Film Production

• Musical Theatre Performance

• Dramatic Performance

• Musical Theatre Writing

As ever, the Conservatory will be helmed by a diverse faculty and staff of Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and Pulitzer Prize winners, award-winning educators, and veterans of the Broadway Stage.

All students between 14 - 17 years of age must get an employment certificate in order to work (unless otherwise specified).

How to apply:

Gather all of the necessary documentation (see below) and submit copies in person to Ms. Salcedo Perez in room 308.

• An application with Section 1 completed and signed by a parent/guardian 

• A birth certificate for proof of age 

• Physical Form

• New York State doctor's note (stating the student is "fit for employment")
