Q1The triplets were noisy and chaotic. With three of them to handle, it would be even more difficult for him to discipline his children. Furthermore, as they are young, they may respond badly to corporal punishment or nagging.

Q2 He sent the triplets to sit in their thinking chairs and let them reflect on their actions (i.e. guilt-tripping themselves)
After they had reflected on their actions and allowing them to realize why they should not have been so noisy, he forgave them :)
--> bring across the message that as long as you don't repeat your mistakes its okay

1. His children were rowdy, uncooperative and did not follow his instructions.
2. He did not want to use corporal punishment, as it would physically harm his children. Therefore, he implemented his highly effective method to discipline his children by making them reflect on their actions.
3. The triplets were too cute so he cant rly scold them that harshly either.

1. He loved his sons, so disciplining them was hard on him (quote: 'they look so cute sitting there')
So, he used a method that disciplined them but wasn't physically or emotionally hurtful - the Thinking Chairs

2. He was the only parent in the house and he had to care for three small children who were noisy and chaotic.
Instead of fighting fire with fire (losing his calm and aggravating the chaotic situation), he restored the calm with a peaceful, yet effective solution (the Thinking Chair, as compared to shouting/beating)

1. They could gang up against him and misbehave, causing a lot more disorder and noise than one child alone. He also faced difficulty (probably in the beginning) in getting them to comply and sit still for five minutes. If they are punished together they may misbehave when he is not looking
2. He isolates the misbehaving children to reflect on their behaviour. This helps them to calm down first (after getting hyper and shouting etc), and think about their actions so that they do not do it in the future.

1. Triple the giggles. Triple the trouble. They are all super annoying and loud and the man didn't seem to have a wife with him to handle them. So yeah it's tough to bring up one kid let alone 3 kids of the same age. They have really different personalities which makes it difficult to choose one particular technique that will help all of them.
2. He scared them and forced them to sit on a chair, and reflect.
