This was the best demo to end with, thank you so much Jess! I think my favorite part was the happy lists. It requires kind of a different mindset than the classic "gratitude list" and it instantly put me in a better mood! I love your passion for connecting with students. This will definitely be a focus for me as I head into next year!

The positivity is a reminder of all the great experiences and moments we've had over the past four weeks together. I'm grateful for the opportunity to watch amazing educators share their practices, like gratitude lists, sentence frames, and classroom read-alouds.

Love the focus on creating community--such a vital foundation for the learning process. Thank you, Jess!

I just finished up another class about having meaningful relationships with students and how to develop a sense of purpose. This demo is perfect for a summary to this class. I think this is a perfect way to start the next school year for being grateful for things that we tend to overlook and maybe allow our students to heal a bit mentally during these challenging times. Thanks Jess!!

Jess- You are a delight as always. Reading and writing can built deep and meaningful relationship. It also creates discourse in our classroom over many issues that may or may not be brought up otherwise. No one is too old to receive a book read aloud to them. Thanks for the encouragement to keep connecting with my kids through literature.

I think building those relationships with middle schools can be hard at times. Most of the time we just try to talk to them but using a short story or novel is a great way to try and make that connection! What a great idea.
