This mosque is considered one of the most important historical Mosques in Isfahan, Iran, which was built during the Safavid era under the rule of Shah Abbas and the Safavid King. In architectural terms, it is also one of the most important displays in Persians architecture. The construction of the Shah Mosque is located on the southern side of Naqsh-e-Jhan Square, and started to rule under Shah Abbas in 1611.
