At Five Rivers, the basic ICT tools are used, such as Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Videos. This is because students don't have access to simple devices. At Bishop Anstey and Trinity College East 6th Form, many ICT tools are used, including Projectors, Smartboard, Powerschool, WiFi, subject related softwares, online sites such as Powtoon, Edmodo, Weebly, Nearpod, Plickers, social media and so forth. 

2. No, ICT is not necessary for students to succeed in their exams. 

3. Students would feel motivated and excited about learning. For teachers, there are advantages and disadvantages. It can prove to be more work in the short run, but less work in the long run since materials can be reused and recycled. 

4. No, not any technology would suffice. It needs to be subject specific and must be vetted before use to avoid confusion.
