*For now: Vietnamese’s New Year edition, so I added some Vietnamese thingy that related to dragons because 2024 is dragon’s year. (We may have a more general version that fits the majority in the future only when I have the passion and time needed to further develop this project.)

Style: corporate memphis (easy to draw in Illustrator, looks good on packaging, simple yet mesmerizing when added bright colors to it, business-related since this is not a 100% dexterity game but rather a balance between skill and strategy).

Main colors (if I ever added them): red + yellow (dominant), + green (all high in saturation).

Social problems: Homemakers face a variety of social challenges, such as burnout, stress, and loneliness, which can lead to serious health complications and family breakdown. In this game, I'm allowing players to experience life as a housewife, to raise awareness of the issue and spark empathy and understanding among players, which will help to reduce the problem." (Not just because I was nostalgic and played some Flash games like "Personal Shopper," etc., that I used to be obsessed with and decided to make a board game out of the shopping theme, okay?)

Character concepts:

She’s a young adult but inside, she’s still a child (in the game she will mostly be in her kid form)

She has Insomnia which leads to her having to use medicines (tranquilizers, sleeping pills)

She starts seeing weird creatures (in her dreams)

Each creature represents a fear, problem,… she has to face in her life

While dealing with each monster, she has to collect small pieces of a mask. Then, after finished collecting every piece and wear the mask, she will turn into her grown-up form and gain special abilities and  run away from the monster (this part represents the fact that she has to act like a grown-up, run away from her problems, not wanting to face it)….

Goal of the Game:

The goal of the game is to be the first player to rescue all of the cats and bring them back to the coffee shop.

Gameplay:

1. At the beginning of the game, each player randomly pick a character from the Cat Cafe staff and places their player piece on their own start space on the board.

2. Players then take turns rolling the dice and moving their piece along the path indicated by the numbers rolled. If the player lands on a space that has a cat token, they can capture the cat by placing their piece on the token and taking it back to the coffee shop, some of the cats might be difficult to catch.

3. If the player lands on a space that contains an obstacle token, they must either lose a turn or take a different route to the coffee shop.

4. If the player lands on a space that contains a cat food token, they can take the token and place it in their "cat food bin" to earn bonus points at the end of the game.

5. If the player lands on opponent’s coffee shop, they might get stuck there until the owner passes by or return, or pay a cat food token to escape.

6. The game ends when one player has rescued all of the cats and returned them to the coffee shop. The player with the highest number of cat food tokens and bonus points is declared the winner

story: in a family with 4 siblings, they are all victims of domestic violence. To them, their alcoholic father was a zombie (Chinese vampire) and after their divorce, he often beat them. They are running away from the "vampires" from the traps and mazes in their memories (by rolling dice) to reach the destination of "their mother". Get rid of the darkness of the past, run to the finish line to win yourself. Learning to accept and overcome is the way to overcome fear in the past.The front gate will welcome us

In this Poster, I will use Contrast and Size Constancy aspects to visualize my idea.

As you can see on the sketch, there're 2 people: the right side is the Hero and the left one is the Demon. Behind them is the Kingdom's Palace, of which its scenery will be changed based on the faction it is in (Chaos on the left and Peaceful on the right). Lying under 2 characters are the Play Table with cards on it, I will put small human and devil figures on top of those cards later.

RULES

1. Game description: a maze-style board game with 3 exits, 3 entrances, some dead end, along the way there will be some obstacles blocking the way, mainly hidden Traps that will be randomly selected by pick random card, in addition there are The holes are connected to each other. 3-player game with 3 characters: hero, criminal and victim, players must roll dice and overcome obstacles to help the victim escape from the criminal and the maze.

2. Rules:

- Each character starts at a different place (chosen arbitrarily from 3 entrances, cannot choose the same).

- Allowed to only move forward or backward in 1 turn.

- When the hero and criminal meet (jump into the same square), the criminal will be captured and disabled for the next 2 turns.

- Players can pass each other (if they do not jump into the same square) without affecting another player.

- When the hero and victim meet, the victim has the right to take one more turn

- The victim gets out of the maze before being caught -> win

- The victim is captured before leaving the maze -> game over

3. Trap:

- Take 1-6 steps back

- Stand still 1-3 in turn

- Go to the exit (1or2or3) and have to go back to the map

- Pushed to the next parallel path

- Traps lead to any trap with selected location

Our game is a bonding game for newfound group of friends with the name “Get to know” we mean that in the game there will be tasks for players to bring them together and get to know well about each others

-> game for group from 2-5 friends  

-> the game provides a vintage board, 5 dices and 5 coloured differently groups of 30-marker

-> it includes the most fundamental questions and mission to complete 

-> each player will have one dice and one group of 30-marker beforehand

-> use dice to move - choose one of the same number you get after rolling the dice and put a marker on it for “you was here” markup and not go through the same task

-> right the position the player has stopped onto there is a hidden task card that can be straightened up and the player can choose one of the two tasks written on both sides of the card (the game has some special positions - who stop there can create new tasks to renew the game or skip the task)

-> enjoy the game until you run out of markers or go through all the tasks given or you think you know enough about the others.

       Description: Three knight mice stand on a mound in the middle of the vast ocean. They were witnessing with their own eyes the moon chewing up the stars in the quiet black night. Surrounding them are tentacles that are on standby, ready to turn them into meals if they are vulnerable. They now have almost no way out... Finally, after face to many changeling, they had to escape. However, their ship broke, and the apocalyptic moon evolved to not only destroy the stars, but the entire world... Meaning: The moon, in some cultures, is considered lost or deadlocked. The stars symbolize hope, the mouse knight symbolizes weakness, innocence, smallness but courage and determination, ready to move forward despite danger. The tentacles come from the octopus, a species considered monstrous because of its genetics and body structure, a symbol of potential danger. This painting is about the dilemma of not being able to move forward because of losing the light of hope, but not being able to go back to the way it was before. From the mice, there are only 3 of them, unable to pick the stars and resist the tentacles, I want to metaphorize the image of people lacking experience, money, relationships who are willing to risk their lives to achieve noble purpose, to prove their value and strength to family, friends, society, and even themselves. And after a long time of trying to develop, what they got in return was nothing but the same almost out-of-control mess they made after each try. Youth is full of energy, ambition and determination, which is a good thing. However, every time they want to challenge themselves, they need to prepare carefully by determining goals that are within their ability to achieve and limiting risks to the lowest level possible. Name: Iris - a type of flower symbolizing loyalty, courage and wisdom.

Our game is about the adventure of four hamsters. They have participated in a competition set by the princess of the Hamster Kingdom. The challenge is whoever brings back the Iris flower from the dark forest first, will have the honor of marrying princess. The hamsters have to go through a forest, a desert, and a sea to get back to their kingdom. The players, who role that hamsters, must compete to find whose hamster reaches the finish line first.

• idea1: a group of people have moved to a dormitory (they’re all new to each others) -> they decided to create a small first meeting party to get to know about each other  SO we’re going to make a part room of 3-4 people as the background

• idea2: a group of people got caught in the storm in a deserted island -> there would be a situation that lead them to get to know clearly about each others and they had to take part in a game SO the background is about an island

• Rule:

  • Pregame setup: Deal cards to the players, 2 cards (1 character card, 1 side quest card) each player.

  • Roll the dice to decide the play order (Largest to smallest dice number). Reroll if it's a tie.

  • Use chess pieces to move through the territories you want, the territories will have corresponding numbers, you must roll the dice with a number greater than or equal to the above number to be allowed to move in, or another way is to trade numbers. The existing token is equal to the number on the territory to be able to move to that location. Combine with special skills to capture as much territory as possible. When passing through a territory, place a token (without X) to mark a temporary territory, the territory can still be competed for by other players. When a territory is temporarily connected to 3 or more other territories, the territory will belong to the player completely, replace the token with an X to mark it. Whoever gets the number of squares = 1/number of players first will win Side quest: When playing the main game without hope, you can complete your side quest to win

•Decription: The following is our presentation of this project. Our game is called World of Choas with 3 main characters presented in 3 different angles with unique characteristics representing each character's unique mechanics. The 2 main aspects we used in this project are narrative and mnemonics. The story is about 3 characters fighting against each other to reach a final goal.As you can see they are facing each other like they are guarding the gate or preparing to fight once again. First, in the left corner, we have the clown demon with a face made from clay and wrapped around with cloth. The included sickle can be removed or swung back and forth. Next on the right, we have a little girl with the ability to control "nightmare" through masks attached by magnets on the wall. We can also disassemble and reassemble it and even attach it to her face. And finally the middle part with two main points: the spider and the gate. The spider is hanging above and next to it is a red cocoon made from clay and red thread. Below is the destination or ending point of the game - a gate made from cardboard that can be opened and closed at will. Behind the main door is a representation of "another space" made of overlapping layers of paper. On the door is also attached a dice representing the nature of the game, which is rolling dice. Surrounding elements such as the background are hand-painted, the rocks and islands are made of foam, and the clouds are made of cotton.

We've got some Kraken tentacles in both side, Huge Sea wave in the front and some thunderbolts stick on background

The goal is to cross to the end of the map.

Player movements are determined by dice, and you could only use 2 dice per turn.

Every point allows you to move one space in the chosen direction; however, if you hit an obstacle, all the remaining points will be immediately forfeited.

Every turn, the obstacles will be randomized by one of the players, but they are not allowed to close all routes.

Each turn, each player recovers 2 stamina, a token spent to use their dice. You could either spend or save your stamina for later use.

I used the approaches of stereotypes, archetypes, and redundancy.

The materials used include cardboard, paper, liquid paint, and plastic scrap.

Description: the vast, endless city that stretches through the horizon, always vibrant, day or night. The lone traveller stands still, gazing at the soulless city.
