I’ve Always Wanted to Join a Theater Club 🎭

I’ve always enjoyed acting just for fun, and being part of a theater club has kind of been a little dream of mine. I saw that Neutinamu Library does play-reading sessions with seniors, which looked really fun.

But I’m not a senior yet haha… so if there are any groups that non-seniors can also casually join and enjoy, I’d really love to participate!

I’d love to try joining a script-reading/theater club, so if anyone here has experience with something like this, I’d really appreciate any tips or stories you can share~!

Would It Be Helpful to Have a Library Guide for International Visitors?

I’m a librarian in Korea, and whenever international users visit the library, I still get nervous because of my fear of speaking English 😭

I genuinely want to make people feel welcome, but because of the language barrier, the words just don’t come out naturally sometimes.

Lately I’ve been wondering if it would help to create something like a simple “Library Guide at a Glance” board for foreign visitors, so they can quickly understand how the library works even without a long conversation.

Are there any libraries that already use something like this? I’d really love to see examples if anyone knows of any!

Questions like “Why go to such lengths?” tend to make me feel discouraged.

Are designers closer to artists, problem-solvers, technicians, or are we gradually shifting into an entirely new role somewhere in between?

As AI generates images faster and more easily than ever, I often find myself wondering what role will remain for human designers and illustrators. The more technology replaces different parts of the creative process, the more I question what kinds of sensibilities, perspectives, and ways of seeing can only come from humans.

What kinds of attitudes or perspectives will help creatives continue making meaningful and joyful work in the long run?

And beyond design, I’d also love to hear how people in different fields are thinking about sustaining and redefining their own work in this rapidly changing era.
