Types of Assessments:
1) Dial-4 which is a developmental screening test  to identify young children who need further testing.
2) AEPS which is a curriculum‐based measure of developmental and early academic skills that children need to function.
How to work smarter not harder:
Systems breaking the day down and using routines and expectations.
Intentionally look at students skills
Stories:
Data can change perspectives in assessments.
Any advice:
Use other teachers as support if needed. Gain that community with teachers and other school personnel.

Relationships: gives an understanding about students lives. Helps reach out to families. Use their interests to help them learn. 
Why teach?
Than you notes at the end of the school year. You get to open students minds to things they never thought about before.
