The White tiger is a beautiful creature, that sadly, is endangered. There are only about 200 white tigers left in the world. That is why it’s so important that they reproduce. In every litter that a female produces, it consists of about 4 or 5 cubs. A white tiger’s lifespan is about 12 years, which can be longer in captivity. They weigh up to 300kg, and can get up to 3 meters long. White tigers are carnivores and, in the wild, they often feed on large mammals, such as wild boar, buffalo and deer. There are five different kinds or subspecies of tiger alive in today’s world. These tigers are called Siberian, the South China, the Indochinese, Bengal, and the Sumatran.
